In this session, we combine sociomusicological research with the experience of professional music organisations to better understand and cultivate concert-going audiences in Canada.

Biography

Caroline Marcoux-Gendron:
Caroline Marcoux-Gendron is coordinator and research member of DMAQ/DPMQ, a project supported by the Canadian Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council. An ethnomusicologist and incoming PhD student on concert-going audiences, she will be presenting with journalist and master’s in sociomusicology student, Natassja Menezes.
