This session will be about gypsy music and its present status, focusing particularly on the need to support new bands and artists who will play a vital role in keeping it alive and growing. New artists need opportunities and the chance to play in concerts, for if established bands split up, huge parts of gypsy culture may fall into oblivion, especially in the big cities.

I would like to share some of my experiences and insights gained while traveling and connecting with people at concerts and in the centres of gypsy music culture.
