The public Classical:NEXT Showcase Festival, also known as ROAM - Rotterdam Art Music Festival - highlights the classical music of today: adventurous, innovative, and free from convention.
Expect dazzling concerts, cross-overs, and state-of-the-art music, spread across the city, with de Doelen as the pulsating heart of the festival. With the exception of the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, all Classical:NEXT Showcases are open to the general public.
On the line-up of the festival and in addition to the Classical:NEXT Showcases are a number of acclaimed and prominent artists in the art music scene, including:

Tickets for each block of showcases are €5.
There is a fee of €19/€10 for the ROAM concerts stargaze + MUTED by Monica Germino on Tuesday and ANNO by The Scottish Ensemble on Saturday.
Tickets can be bought at the box offices of de Doelen – open from 10:00 until the end of the showcases on Thursday and Friday – and online.
Rotterdam Art Music Festival 2019 is a collaboration between de Doelen and Piranha Arts Berlin and is powered by Rotterdam Festivals, Gemeente Rotterdam, Stichting Droom en Daad and Dutch Performing Arts.
