In 2018, Piranha Arts Consultancy initiated WOMEX Academy that facilitated the training and participation of young music professionals for global music markets.
This year, WOMEX celebrates its 25th anniversary, and it is a generation! The young generation will be coming: Over 30 dynamic and very motivated individuals with very diverse profiles and backgrounds will be joining us next week in Tampere.
We will continue to celebrate our partnership with the Sibelius Academy, which facilitates the presence of ten students and three young professionals coming from Nepal.
The WOMEX Academy is also involved in two projects under the umbrella of Creative Europe – Music Moves Europe programme – training scheme for young music professionals:
