2 + 5 SAMURAI * WOMEX 11 Jury Announced

Every year WOMEX invites a Jury made up of well-respected members of our world music community. The Jury members - also known as the 7 Samurai - work on the Showcase and Conference selection. In 2011, for the second year running, the WOMEX Jury is split up into two fields of responsibility: two Samurai are in charge of the Conference programming, while the other five are asked to shape the Showcase Festival.

Here is the first announcement - the 5 Showcase Samurai:
