ACP MUSIC FESTIVALS NETWORK * Review: Sagamusik, Ouagadougou, 2-5 Dec 2010

Organised by Umané Culture and BEMA Bureau Export de la Musique Africaine with the support of the French Cultural Center of Ouagadougou, the ACP Music Festivals Network, Burkina Music Export et Code Group, Sagamusik's third edition took place in Ouagadougou from 2-5 December.

The event was hosted by the French Cultural Center except for the last day which took place in the village of Saponé, 30 km from Ouagadougou.

During the day, Sagamusik offered professionals workshops and a market with stands. At night, about 20 showcases were presented - a wide-ranging programme focusing on Burkinabe and West African music.
