The pricing for virtualWOMEX membership has changed. For most of you, it won't make any difference, but there are some details to consider.
As you may already know, a virtualWOMEX account that is valid for one year is included in the price of each registration to WOMEX. For those who cannot make it to the annual WOMEX event, it is possible to buy an account, either for 6 or 12 months.
To comply with German law, we now have to adapt our pricing to the value added tax (VAT) regulations. Our prices will stay the same: 55 EUR for 6 months / 99 EUR for 12 months. But in some cases, we need to add a VAT of 19%. This may concern you if you want to renew your virtualWOMEX account. Here is how it works:
* If you are a company based in Germany: you will have to pay the VAT.
* If you are a company based in the European Union (but not in Germany): in order to not pay the German VAT of 19%, you will need to send us your VAT id number.
* If you are an individual based in the European Union, you will have to pay the VAT.
* If you are a company or individual based outside of the European Union: you do not have to pay the VAT. Local taxes may apply on your side though - do not hesitate to contact us if you need a specific notice on your invoice.
What has not changed is that a new or returning registration to virtualWOMEX always starts through our form, a link to which you will find on the right side of this page.
