VENUE INFO * WOMEX Nights are at the Copenhagen Concert Hall

(Photo: Bjarne Bergius) The WOMEX 09 night showcases will all take place under one roof (!) at the new Copenhagen Concert Hall run by Danish Broadcasting (DR).

Designed by Jean Nouvel it was inaugurated in January after a six year construction period. The building is already highly esteemed: "For now this is the most expensive concert hall in the world. Soon it will just be one of the best", says the Financial Times.
