WOMEX 10 COPENHAGEN * Key Music Professionals from Africa Meet at WOMEX

David Alexander from SAMEX, acknowledges "WOMEX is a cutting edge conference which keeps musicians, record labels, and entertainment businesses up-to-date on the latest industry developments. SAMEX encourages young economically empowered music companies from South Africa to enter the international market and participate at WOMEX to present themselves to professionals both from Africa and all over the world, to ensure their local sustainability and success."

The African Music Export Office BEMA based in Dakar (Senegal) will be exhibiting at WOMEX, as will be Umané Culture (Burkina Faso), Afrik'Aktion (Gabon) and Busara Promotions (Tanzania) - all part of the ACP Music Festivals Network.

The African Music Export Office BEMA has also set up a Networking Meeting at WOMEX assembling BEMA members as well as interested non-members on Saturday morning, 30 October at Forum Copenhagen.
