General web identification security advice

In view of recent hacking actions all over the web, i would like to present two simple security rules that apply not only to virtualWOMEX but to all services that require identification:

1. Use strong passwords. They should be a mix of small letters, capital letters and numbers or even symbols. They should be at least 8 characters long. They should contain no word that can be found in a dictionary, not even a combination of such words.

2. Do not use the same combination of user name and password more than once. If you have to because you are using different services of the same service provider (like a Google account or an Apple ID), make sure your password is specially strong.

If you wish to change your virtualWOMEX login data, you can do so by going to MyWOMEX (see link on the right) and click on "edit my login data".
