Mauricio Alvarez, Juan Ramon and Boris Rios take on Latin rhythms and graphics to offer sensuality, smiles and corporality to its audience under the name of Cero39.
Formed in 2007, Cero39 is a project lead by researcher and composer traveller and jolly soul Mauricio Alvarez, who after having collected music from all along the Magdalena River for more than a year ends his journey in Barranquilla, city of inspiration and axis of Cero39's beginnings.
In Barranquilla, during the cheerful evenings at Prado Mar, Barrio Abajo and Edificio Garcia, Mauricio meets different musicians and singers who start collaborating with him. When the initial creative process is over with, he goes down to Medellin to begin the postproduction of this project.
Right before the project is done, Cero39 is invited to international festivals such as the Congreso Iberoamericano de Cultura 2010 in Medellin, My World Images DNK in Denmark and the Festival Cervantino in Mexico.
