Mr Toubab and Cucurucho cook up an ancient-futurist groove-heavy hot-pot from Latin, African and tropical melodies to Arabic, Balkan and Indian beats, mixed with with their own productions and mash'ups. Mr Toubab is a French musician, DJ and producer, aka Captain Cumbia and the founder of the band, Toubab All Stars. He's also the music programmer for La Dame de Canton, the top club of the Parisian global beats and tropical bass scene. DJ Cucurucho is a Spanish filmmaker, journalist and ethnomusicologist based in Paris, collecting sounds on his travels in Argentina, Senegal, Morocco, Mali, Portugal and Turkey and sharing them through radio shows and film documentaries. He is a co-founder of the Groovalizacion internet radio website. Together, Toubab and Cucurucho present their electric eclectic live set, Las Noches de la Groovalizacion. Prepare to be groovalized
