Lhasa de Sela is an outstanding singer and storyteller. Her memorable voice, strong, deep, melancholic and amorous is her music's trademark up until today. Lhasa published her second, highly successful and acclaimed album "The Living Road" in 2004. Lhasa won the BBC Radio Award for World Music 2005 in the category "Best Act America".
After remarkable tours in 2004 an 2005 in Germany she took a break from music in 2006 and plans to be back in Germany next year.
