Pyramid Entertainment Management Inc. is a booking agency, management and artist representation company providing established and emerging artistes with a range of services to increase their earning potential and exposure in traditional and non-traditional music markets.
Incorporated in 2004, the company currently represents artistes from various musical genres and boasts an impressive roster of acts from across the Caribbean. Amongst the acts currently on the company's roster are Lil Rick, Peter Ram, Biggie Irie, Mr. Dale, Statement, Philip 7, Masala, Buggy, Fraud Squad, Verseewild (Barbados), Timeka Marshall (Guyana), Omari Ferrari (St. Croix), Jadine (Monsterrat), Skinny Fabulous(St. Vincent) and Mad Dog (Jamaica).
At the helm of the company is attorney-at-law Santia Bradshaw and entertainment consultant, Jerome Hamilton of Jamaican partner company - Headline Entertainment together with a diverse team of local, regional and international entertainment consultants.
In addition to its core services, the company produces a bi-monthly newsletter which focuses on highlighting the achievements of the company's roster of artistes. The publication has become a principal source of content for several regional and international media interested in finding out about the activities of Caribbean artistes.
Pyramid Entertainment co-produced the 2006 Barbados Music Seminar and Showcase, which featured a comprehensive schedule of seminars and workshops designed to discuss and address several issues facing the Caribbean music industry.
In 2007, the company became the first Barbadian entity to secure grant funding from the Barbados Government's Enterprise Growth Fund to develop, promote and market a roster of artistes for export. The company immediately established the Pyramid Music Group - a multi media music content label through which artistes managed by the company would benefit from full and partial "360 degree" agreements. Within the past two years, Pyramid Music Group has been working steadily to develop regional artistes for international signings, it has produced over 14 music videos, commercially released and licensed three albums and made available several entertainment programmes and behind the scenes footage about the business of entertainment into several mainstream markets.
In February, 2009, the Pyramid Entertainment was invited by Invest Barbados to participate in MIDEM the world's largest international music expo together with a delegation of music entrepreneurs whose primary objective was to seek export opportunities for the Caribbean creative sector. Most recently, the company became a member of the recently formed Association of Music Entrepreneurs and Santia Bradshaw is currently the Vice President of the Association with special responsibility for Business Planning.
