After an interview with Elodie MAILLOT, who is a radio producer for 12 years for Radio France, Cotonou's most famous Orchestra, the Mighty POLY RYTHMO asked the young lady to become a producer and achieve the dream of any old musician in Africa: going out of Africa once in a lifetime, play around the world and record again after 25 silent years.
Few years later, the dream has even gone much further: Poly Rythmo toured the whole world for 2 years (USA, Canada, UK, Brazil, France, Holland, Belgium etc...).
In 2011, SONS D'AILLEURS has released the new album of the band, featuring ANGELIQUE KIDJO, FATOUMATA DIAWARA and Franz Ferdinand's musicians (licensed by STRUT and Universal Jazz in France).
