RecRec Medien AG distributes, licenses, promotes and produces high quality records of artists and labels from all over the world and in many different fields of music. Today RecRec is the most important Swiss distributor of World Music and has a high profile in Alternative Pop and Rock, Jazz, Avantgarde, Hip Hop and Reggae/Dub. With its dance department, RecRec also covers the whole spectrum including Techno, House, Psy-Trance, Drum ’n’ Bass and Downbeat.

In 1999 RecRec celebrated its 20th birthday. Throughout the years we have kept the spirit to explore new worlds of music.

RecRec employs 16 people and its sales force has an excellent reputation in both the German and French speaking parts of Switzerland.

With our promotion campaigns we have attained a high credibility and therefore attract wide attention among the media and the public.

On our own label make up we publish exquisite music that has been described as "peculiar, brilliant pop sounds from Switzerland”. The Young Gods, Knut & Silvy and Die Aeronauten are some of the highly praised bands.
