Rosazul Concerts presents dance, percussion and vocal
ensemble AFRICA D'IVORI, created in 2000 integrated by dancers
and percussionists from the Côte d'Ivoir National Ballet.
The company joins the cultural richness of its country in a show
that integrates dance (initiation, seduction, war and magic
dances), chants, costumes and participation of the public over
an energic, contagious, tribal, unbeatable rhythm that
communicates directly with the public.
From their first performance in 2000 in venue La Paloma in
Barcelona, AFRICA D'IVORI has performed in Benin, Burkina Faso,
Portugal, Belgium, France, Italy and Martinique.
They have participated in the "Forum de las Culturas de
Barcelona 2004", Festival "Andalucía es Cultura 2004" on a tour
that took them to all the Andalucian capitals, Grec 2000, IX
Festival Internacional de Danza en Paisaje Urbano, Barcelona
(07/2000) and they have been awarded "honour company" at the
Marató de l'Espectacle in 2000.
