Run Management

Run Management is a production, booking and artist management company created in 2005. Its primary objective is to promote Réunion Island’s music and to accompany under several aspects of the business artists located on the Indian Ocean French speaking territories.

After spending 10 years in Europe working for major multinational UK based companies in the fields of sales, recruitment and human resources we made the decision to move into career development and artist management. Since 2005 we have focused on the organisation of tours and booking for artists such as Reunion Island based piano ace Meddy Gerville or singer Yaelle Trulès.

Talents we represent are most of the time located on Reunion, however our attention is also focused on those of them who emigrated to Europe or elsewhere in order to make the world discover the music of this créole speaking rainbow island.

Our artists mainly draw their inspirations from Reunion’s traditional music called “maloya”. Nowadays, this music mingles with jazz, funk, blues even rock. Artists often sing in Créole, sometimes in French and English as well. That is the reason why one can naturally find a bit of himself in the music played by the artists we work with. The whole history of Reunion is about interbreeding and fusion particularly within the artistic field.

From Paris to New York via Johannesburg our objective is to promote the art of our musicians. Our team is present on most of events dedicated to the music industry professionals: (WOMEX, MIDEM, BIS Nantes, Babel Med...)
