9BACH When Martin (Guitar) and Lisa (Vocals) first came together to form 9Bach, at the start of 2005, their idea was to rework the traditional Welsh folk song; creating a new, stark sound. Lisa comments; "Many traditional folk songs are really dark, so I couldn't understand most people's upbeat approach to them. I think the sparseness that's on our album has helped create a more subtle, multifaceted mood. Sometimes it's harder to let the silence speak, but it can definitely be more powerful."
