One of Wales' best female soloists and a foremost innovator in the field of traditional folk songs. Sian writes much of her own material, often giving a slight pop and jazz twist to her songs - not only is Sian a singer-songwriter but she also plays the Celtic and classical harp and is an excellent pianist.Sian is a former member of the folk group Bwchadanas before going solo. All her albums have received excellent reviews with "Distaw" entering the National Folk Roots charts. There has been a positive response to all her albums by our distribution network in Spain. Arpa Folk Music in Madrid licensed a track from "Cysgodion Karma", 'Marchnad Llangollen' to appear in a Celtic compilation - Mujeres en la Musica Celtas (Women in Celtic Music) and Fonomusic in Spain have licensed "Y Gwydd" from her "Gweini Tymor" album for their Naciones Celtas compilation. A Japanese company, JVC, have licensed tracks from Sian's first three CD's and have released it for sale in Japan and south east Asia.
