"Incantations might be the best way to sum up the ineffable voice of Renata Rosa - An intense and light voice, which swirls and flies like an ember in the night. It’s a mysterious music, although familiar, with roots in Northeastern Brazil and in the depths of time. Fiddles and percussions, crystalline draping of ten strings guitar, complex and fluid vocal polyphony rising in spirals like flames of fire. "Stephan Deschamps" - Les Inrock
