Samponé Music Productions

Samponé Music Productions was founded in 1991 by the musicians of Fra Fra. Both orchestras – Fra Fra Sound and Fra Fra Big Band – had felt an urgent need for an organization in the Netherlands, which could take care of both the production and business side to their ever increasing activities.



Hence, Samponé Music Productions was born and has since become the hub of Fra Fra’s activities, taking care of all concert- management, bookings, sales of concerts, promotion, production of tours and projects as well as all possible associated business tasks.



Located in a office in Amsterdam, they are open four days a week from 10 am till 6 pm. The office is managed by Marion Onnekink and in his role as chef d’orchestre, Vincent Henar is indirectly involved in most matters.



Crucial to the companies vitality, is that Samponé Music Productions continues to be open to diverse collaborations with (local) promoters and agents in various countries and regions, where there is interest in performances by Fra Fra Sound and / or Fra Fra Big Band.



Pramisi Records

Pramisi Records was founded to ensure that CD productions of the

Fra Fra-orchestras could be marketed properly.



Since it’s beginning, Fra Fra Sound has released seven CD’s and Fra Fra Big Band three. In addition, Pramisi Records has been involved in producing the work of talented unknown - artists who the Fra Fra regularly meet while on tour. Indeed, whenever possible Pramisi Records aims to produce the CDs of promising artists who can take an audience of curious music-lovers into worlds of musical movements, that would otherwise remain unkown to them. A good example is the CD Krawerki of the Paramaribo based band Time Out (PRA CD 20004).
