In Violino Popular Brasileiro, his first album, he proposes five of his own compositions besides warm interpretations of brazilian classics such as Ponteio, Beatriz, É and Linha de Passe. All marked by virtuosity and vivid energy. The mandolinist Hamilton de Holanda co-signed the music production with Herz for the cd, in which the accordionist and singer Dominguinhos (in Céu) and percussionist Zé Luiz Nascimento both participated.
