Cruzeiro do Forte is the oldest Maracatu Rural of Recife city. In 2009 celebrating 80 years Old.
This CD means making a great desire of the community of the Southern Cross to register its history, for 75 years and are today no longer practice a few more songs and rhythms, (read the text on Carnival Club Committee), in this repertoire have tunes of 1929 until the present day, in some, the authors are remembered, lost the other authors, but they are the Heritage Cruise Strong and two of them are mastering folk traditions from all over Brazil, which are "The Constant Gardener" and "God Save Holy House ".
