The soundscape of Siri Karlsson is a poetic and explorative brew of electroacoustic sounds and emotions created by an odd mix of instruments such as key fiddle, synths, saxophone and voice. Influ- ences from near and far are boiled down to an evocative musical uni- verse with tentacles to psychedelia, progressive rock, avant garde, noise and folk music.

November 8 Siri Karlsson will release their fifth album, Horror Vacui, featuring a work commissioned by the Swedish Radio.

The duo has been awarded for their avant garde music and is highly acclaimed for their high quality of artistic expression and renewal of Swedish folk, tradition and instruments, constantly reaching new audiences. Siri Karlsson puts expression first, dressed in costumes, often accompanied by a band and visuals - they give the audience a ride through the unexpected.
