In 1993 I was fortunate enough to meet Sebastiao Salgado during the mounting of the "Workers" exhibition at the National Library in Madrid. From this meeting arose an album by the MacGarin Ensemble which reproduced with music the atmosphere of each chapter of his book.
Ten years later, a group of musicians/friends and the MacGarin Ensemble itself have gone over the themes of the album with the aim of supporting the work of the Terra Institute, promoted by Sebastiao Salgado himself and Lélia Wanick Salgado.- jmacGarin
