It was an absolute honor and success to host with Alejandra Maria the First International Jazz Day in the Styrian Alps of Austria. We celebrated the Legacy of my mentor Lew Soloff with a special string Quartet performance of a composition we had recorded together in NYC. Thanks to our sponsors we could give free admission to Political Refugees from Iran, Syria and Armenia which are living in this region to enjoy a night of music and Human Spirit ! It was so touching to see all walks of life come together in solidarity for this irreplaceable heritage we call Jazz!
