We may consider Fernando Tordo a singer of Urban Music influenced by big names as Tony Bennett, Jacques Brel or Gilbert Bécaud. He has composed around 400 songs and has written for several Portuguese singers as Mariza, Carlos do Carmo, Carminho among others.
Tordo plays several string instruments as guitar, ukulele, harp, traditional Portuguese "viola Beiroa" and "viola Campaniça". However, the Voice is his main instrument.
José Saramago, Literature Nobel awarded, once said about Fernando Tordo:
