The Senegalese Guitar Virtuos and composer, has recorded on more than hundred albums and performed in almost every part of the world, with artists like Pat Metheny, Cheick Tidiane Seick, Toure Kounda, Paco Sery, Lionel Loueke, Hamid Drake, Jimmy Cliff, David Murray, Pharao Sanders, Meshell Ndegeocello, Oumou Sangare, Amadou & Mariam, The Syndicate, Linley Marthe and on tour with Lisa Simone and Somi to name a few.
Samb has recorded on more than hundred albums, along with Pat Metheny, Cheick Tidiane Seick, Toure Kounda, Paco Sery, Lionel Loueke and Hamid Drake, to name some.
Samb was always determined to develop his own music as a force of Panafrican expression and identity. Completely self-taught, Samb perfected his awareness of harmony and his original technique through collaborations and urban jam sessions.
His spirited and incisive play and his eclectic work do wonders in his last three records: the jubilant "Cross Over", the meditative "Kharit" and the epicurean "Time to Feel".
According to Jazz Magazine, with his last CD Herve Samb assers himself in the 21st century as one of the greatest jazz revelations of a transfigured Africa.
His new album TERANGA is been released in 2017/2018
