Born in Salvador, October 1977, Pitty followed the opposite track of most musicians from Baia. Musician's daughter, she was always with people connected to Punk Rock and Metal, since she was teenager in Porto Seguro. Her musical references have always been Raul Seixas, Mike Patton and singers like Nina Simone, Etta James and Elis Regina. In 1996, she started the hardcore band "Inkoma", in which she was the vocalist for six years and where she released some albums.

When the band ended, Pitty was invited by the producer Rafael Ramos (Quizz MTV ex-presenter) to record a solo album. In 2003, she released her first work "Admiravel Chip Novo", which has sold more than 40 thousand copies. The tracks "Mascara", "Admiravel Chip Novo" and "Teto de Vidro" were big hits, along with the respective video clips.

Her repertory has also original songs like "Temporal" and "O Lobo". The track that gives the name to the album was inspired in the book "Admiravel Mundo Novo", authored by Aldous Huxley (Pitty favorite writer). One of the most successful songs "Equalize" was written along with guitarist Peu and has Liminha on the bass (Rio de Janeiro producer). Another important participation is from Paulinho Moska.

In 2005 Pitty released the album "Anacronico" and she was the biggest evidence in the Video Music Brasil that year.

Pitty career is growing in a surprising rhythm. In such a short period, Pitty has already been several times the opener at Charlie Brown's concerts and she performed at Abril Pro Rock in Recife, Pernambuco. Still in 2006, Pitty performed at Rock in Rio in Lisbon and Algarve Rock, both in Portugal.

In the biggining of this year, Pitty had several shows in Japan. Currently she's now traveling around Brazil, performing shows in the main cities.

Soon she will record Credicard Hall in Sao Paulo, her live DVD.
