Guitarist born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, he started to play the guitar at 6 years old at 15 influenced by the blues he learned more about African-American music. From this moment he began to investigate the concept of Afro-Latin American music. (following Nicomedes Santacruz, we are indoblanquinegros). This concept has become the spiritual backbone of Mukele's music and is reflected in the hardest sounds and in the sweetest melodies that form a perfect balance.
In 2000 together with Cotu, Barry and Taty they formed the group Standard a hard musical mixture, and toured Brazil. They were members of the Black Rock Coalition participating in the compilation album, The Bronze Buckaroo Rides Again together with artists such as Veron Reid (Living Colour) and Dave Fiuczinsky (Screaming Headless Torsos).
After living for six months in na cidade maravillosa, Rio de Janeiro, the city's ambiance and music influenced him he started to make songs that can be found on his first album, Ubuntu in which he tries to reproduce from the music the feeling of this African word that means: humanity for everyone.
