A house near Paris, six musicians between 25 and 30 : the roommate quickly takes a special kind. This people do not just share a habitation, together they compose, write and repeat their songs... In addition to being roommates and friends, they are also musicians and associates.
The first album of Colocks "Construire nos vies" is a breath of fresh air in the francophone reggae world. The band offers 13 tracks of pure reggae, exclusively singing in French, outsides clichés. A powerful voice, musicians united by their stage experience, they tell their thirst for freedom, their lives to build and welcome us in their charming roommate. The album "Construire nos vies" is in stores since February 16, of 2009. Distributed by Believe it has been classed 74th on the Top 100 generalist on Fnacmusic, and best reggae sale of music world in the charts. This ease in the studio is thanks to their stage experience. Indeed, they chained concerts : Elysée Montmortre in Paris, Sun Festival and Sounds and the first part of Black Uhuru, le Peuple de l'Herbe, Groundation, Jim Murple Memorial, Kana, or High Tone... The famous title "Desiderata" was chosen for the soundtrack of the film "Double Zero" with Eric and Ramzy (2 million entries!).
