Born and raised in Poland, Darius Darek is a global networker in the field of cultural diversity, sustainability, participation and global justice in the cultural sector. The studied musician and geographer is heading the cultural platform "Taxi MunDJal MusiX" which is recognized by the German UNESCO Commission since 15 years.

Darius Darek's works as a processual artist and transformation designer contain critical references to classic social modes of reproduction and thus establish spaces for trying out alternative forms of life.

In terms of cultural policy, Darius Darek is committed to the topics of participation, diversity, sustainability and digital change in the following committees: co-founder of the transnational "Global Club Music Network", member of the ART27-network, member of the "Musikkulturen" council (Kultursekretariat NRW) and member of the working group "Music and social responsibilty" (Music Council North Rhine Westphalia)
