The Boite promotes World Musicians from Australia, tours World Musicians to Australia, produces major concerts in Melbourne, Australia, as well as small, regular concerts twice a week.

The Boite's Singers' Festival is in its 16th year. The Melbourne Millennium Chorus, featuring a 350 voice choir, this year was called AZADI and featured Songs of Liberation.

The Boite has produced 16 CDs, the Fig Tree having achieved international critical acclaim.
