Ofer Amsalam was born Israel in 1972.
He was raised and educated in Ashdod and is a graduate of the Harel school and the first class of the 5th Comprehensive High School.
Ofer has a Master's degree in business administration (EMBA) from Bar-Ilan University. He is one of the founders of the communications company "Intenrnet Zahav-Smile" and was the CTO from 1996-2000. Amsalam joined the Israeli Andalus Orchestra in 2001 in the marketing and sales department.
He was appointed as General Manager in January 2007.
