Inspired by the ancient Vedic culture of India, singer Kim Waters and multi-instrumentalist Hans Christian of RASA rediscover sacred Sanskrit chants and Bengali devotional songs. Their lush contemporary arrangements combine traditional and modern elements to invoke a mood of mystical prayer. They have two albums released on the HEARTS OF SPACE label, DEVOTION (2000)and UNION, just released September 2001. RASA recently played at the Earthdance Festival in California. The Rainbow Company is representing RASA for live concerts and future recordings.
