Lao Xao Trio was set up in 2005 by Khanh Nguyen (voice, percussion), Stefan Wehrenpfennig (guitar) and Diethard Krause (cello). The young trio has won the World Music Competition Creole Mitteldeutschland 2011 and attracted the professional audience's attention at the finals of the Creole Competition in Berlin. After a few live performances in the past (amoung them concerts at Schloss Albrechtsberg and at the Palais im Grossen Garten Dresden), we are looking forward to introducing Lao Xao Trio to the (world) music festivals and concerts venues all over Europe.
