TIERRA NEGRA was found by the two german guitar virtuosos and composers Leo Henrichs and Raughi Ebert in 1997. Their instrumental music is basically rooted in the Camargue Flamenco of South France, but is also enriched with elements of Jazz-, Folk-, World- and Hiphop music. The melodie is always in the center of each TIERRA NEGRA composition. TIERRA NEGRA compositiones have a strong song character. Their playing is powerfull, explosiv, wild and groovy, but also sensitive and fragile. In one song the guitar can be used as a percussion instrument and in the next it can be played in a soft and melodic way.



TIERRA NEGRA, the guitar duo, has entertained 20.000 people in a football stadium and opened up for Cheb Mami in front of 9.000 people at the Quebec Festival D'ete.



TIERRA NEGRA has released three albums. The latest "clouds in the sky", on their own label TIERRA NEGRA Records.
