The ICA FolkFest is Victoria's premiere and longest running arts festival. With an annual attendance of over 150,000, the festival is the single largest outdoor event on Vancouver Island. For nine spectacular days during June 26 to July, FolkFest brings together artists from all over the world through music, dance, theatre, visual and culinary arts. The festival is proudly presented by the Inter-Cultural Association (ICA) and produced by TNT Productions Inc. Over the nine days, the festival has programming on 3 performing arts stages; the two music stages (Mainstage, Bayou Bar), a physical theatre and dance stage (Teatro Circo) and a culinary arts stage (the World Feast Stage). Of the 50 professional artists we program annually, about 60% are Canadian, 20% are from the U.S., and 20% are international (overseas).
