Tokatangó
Tokatangó is a percussion trio from Argentina. Their compositions teem with originality and represent their country's folk music.
Tokatangó was developed following the idea that multiple percussion timbres possess such beauty that forcing them to be only accompanying instruments is a waste. Fabian Gallina is the founder, composer and artistic director. The band’s repertoire, called by its author "percussive songs", combines in a simple and pleasant way, a high range of sound resources, bringing together folk rhythmic elements from Argentine and other corners of the globe to describe colors and landscapes, calmly or with high levels of energy.
