Toronto Tabla Youth Ensemble is premiering their season repertoire on
Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 7 PM – 9 PM at Westedge Community Church 157 Lakeshore Rd W, Mississauga, ON L5H 1G3.
Repertoire consists of strong classical rhythmic system of North India to a blend of contemporary rhythms featuring the western drum kit and adopting video technology in their set. This evening will also feature their latest music video Dream symposium directed by Melissa Das-Arp and funded by FACTOR featuring the youth Ensemble and Kathak dancer Labonee Mohanta and members of her dance company.
These young next generation Canadian age from 8 to 15 and are trained by Tabla maestro and Artistic director of Toronto Tabla Ensemble Ritesh Das
