This project is a tribute to the famous « Band of Gypsies » created by Hendrix in 1969. Many artists and rock bands of the 70's have been directly influenced by North-African music and more particularly by Gnawa music. Initiated by Loy Ehrlich (Hadouk Trio) with a prestigious band. This beautiful project revisits some of the great rock'n'roll standards such as Come together (The Beatles), Who knows (Hendrix),Sympathy for the devil (The Stones) and Four sticks (Led Zeppelin) with a strong will of fusion with Gnawa sounds and trance.
