Born in France but raised under the sun of Algeria, Samira Brahmia assumed early her double or triple culture with natural and humour. Influenced early by the Anglo-Saxon culture, her songs blend pop, rock, chaabi, celtic influences and sounds of southern Algeria. Her language is meant to be universal and it is in a mixture of English, French and Arabic that she expresses herself. Her carved melodies are dominated by a clear and pure voice.
