Originally from Africa, Malia moved to London with her family as a teenager. A bitter separation sent the young girl out on her own, with only her music to keep her going.
Her first two albums have gotten her compared to the likes of Billie Holiday and Sarah Vaughn.
Her last album « Young Bones » was produced in and around Paris. The sound texture is a mixture a grainy jazz, silky orchestra and modern electro.
