VOLOSI is one of the most prominent ensembles in the Polish world music scene and a rising star among world music bands in Europe. Since their debut in 2010 the band has received many awards, among others the Svetozar Stracina Grand Prix at The European Broadcasting Union in Bratislava. Their CD ranked among the top in the World Music Charts Europe.
Their music could be defined as an explosion of musical energy quickly escaping any rigidly formulated structures and interpretations. Crossing boundaries is a part of the show. Traditional musicians meet classical instrumentalists and travel along, reaching for never before heard of moving sensual music.
