JUDAH BHARATH is a dynamic singer, songwriter and musician hailing from Trinidad and Tobago. Citing eclectic rocker, Lenny Kravitz as a major influence, Judah blends alternative and soulful energies, with the music of his native land (Calypso & Soca)and his own unshakable Christian faith to create a style that is all his own.
Akin to the arrival of the evening tide, Judah's smooth, soulful vocals wash gently over a shore of pulsating tropical rhythms and this therapeutic blend serves to soothe his audience while simultaneously filling them with electro-sonic, kinetic energy.
Possessing over a decade of experience, Judah has performed throughout the Caribbean as a background musician accompanying a variety of talented acts like Kalyan and Light It Up, 3Suns, New York-based female artiste, Malene Younglao and Jah Bami of TEMPO.
In 2004, he formed his own band with musicians from his hometown in Chaguanas, called the Same Street Band and whilst working with local Gospel & Calypso artiste, Sean Daniel for three years, he shared stages with and performed alongside the greats of gospel, including: Yolanda Adams, Ce Ce Winans, Lt Stitchie, The Love Circle and T.D. Jakes.
In 2009, Judah was featured in the Copyright Music Organization of Trinidad and Tobago's Music Matters magazine and began writing and recording songs for his debut album. Tentatively titled, "Journey To Here", his album will showcase his signature soulful style, which combines inspirational Christian messages of love, faith and hope with groovy, moving sound-scapes.
