Koen Duncan is a man with a mission.

This man of God has a powerful mandate - to bring about change, transformation and to defeat the kingdom of darkness by sharing the word of the gospel with his weapon music. Koen is a music minister who expresses his beliefs and faith in the Word without apology. He does not assume a passive approach to ministry but rather takes the offensive in the battle to which he has committed himself. The message is expressed with a boldness that characterizes his overall style and intricate combination of the Word and Reggae/ Dancehall music, his major influences.

The musical ministry of Koen has found widespread appeal with the youths of this Y2K generation. Evidenced by the fact that he has been requested to be a part of every major youth conference held in Trinidad and Tobago, from the TD Jakes Youth Rally to the Youth Summit in October 2007 by Dr. Myles Munroe. Koen has had the opportunity to share the stage with the likes of Mary Mary, Stitchie, and Fred Hammond. He has even partnered with Xtreme Impact, a youth ministry based in Jamaica that has taken him to schools throughout that island and his homeland, Trinidad and Tobago. His ministry however, is not limited to the youth.

Koen is never one to settle for mediocrity. His drive for excellence has seen him evolve into the
versatile artiste he is today. From the young, award winning saxophonist Koen went on to become the youngest member of the widely renowned gospel group, Broadway Boys International where he was the vocalist behind the group's smash hit, "Whole Armor" before launching his solo career. After Koen released his first solo album "Bring Down" in 2005, he won four (4) awards - Best New Artist, Album of the Year, Dancehall Album of the Year and Song of the Year in the Urban Gospel Alliance Awards in 2006.

In May 2009, he launched his (2nd) second solo album "Shine High." Koen strives to improve on what he brings to the table every single time. Frequently chided by his late father for being "too ambitious" he continues to push the envelope in every facet of his career. Even in the face of this loss, Koen has persevered; continuing to work with local and International promoters to raise funds for worthy causes and ministering at the nation's high schools.

Koen gives all Glory to his heavenly Father, God Almighty.
