Roy Cape All Stars Tour of Canada
Band Pioneers Roy Cape All Stars will be undergoing a two week Canadian Tour from July 16th to August 1st 2011. The band's high levels of professionalism and consistent excellence, make them not only the premier music band in Trinidad and Tobago but also the number one calypso band in the world. They have long been ambassadors for this nation, representing the country at a number of music festivals and official missions, all the while intoxicating people with their exquisite phrasing, harmonies and 'mean' five piece horn section.
While in Canada they will be performing at a number of Caribbean Festival concerts, boat rides and fetes in and around the Toronto area. The Trinidad and Tobago Entertainment Company is very pleased to facilitate this tour as it gives further international exposure to our local entertainers, promotes the national creativity of our artists and ensures that Trinidad and Tobago is not only identified as the home of Carnival but also as the home of calypso, soca and chutney. This tour represents TTEntertainment's ongoing commitment to assist local entertainers and artistes in accessing funding for projects geared towards the export market.
