Since 2004 Oreka Tx's two "txalapartaris" (txalaparta players) have travelled a great deal with their instrument - a focus for exchange and dialogue. They have met nomadic people and musicians from the Sahara, Lapland, India, and Mongolia. As a result of these travels, they have compiled bewitching visual and musical material with a clear objective: sharing this music, these sounds, these images, these experiences.
The result is a documentary called "Nömadak Tx", which has received awards at the most important festivals all over the world. Oreka Tx has also created a singular multimedia show : the musicians are present on stage and on screen at the same time, and these images and sounds from around the world act as backing to the live music!
