Ainslie & Henderson have joined forces to create a high energy sound that pushes the boundaries of Scottish and Irish piping. In Autumn 2006 they release their much awaited debut album - Partners In Crime - with a lineup of guest musicians such as Paul Meehan (Lunasa), Caomhin Vallely (Buille), Ali Hutton (Back of the Moon) and Duncan Lyall (Croft No.5).

Jarlath Henderson is a three times All-Ireland Champion Uilleann Piper and has performed at numerous international piping and music festivals, and on television and radio. In December 2003 Jarlath became the first Irish musician to win the prestigious BBC 'Young Folk Musician Of The Year’, a major UK award. In addition to playing uilleann pipes, Jarlath also plays whistles and has a keen interest in song. He has also recently performed with the Icelandic band Earth Affair for Nelson Mandela’s HIV and AIDs concert in Norway alongside Brian May and Annie Lennox.

Ross Ainslie hails from Perth. He used to play with The Vale of Atholl pipe band and since then has toured with Gordon Duncan and was involved in Iran Drever’s band Clueless before recently playing with Flook! and Dougie MacLean. Ainslie also tours regularly as a member of Salsa Celtica.
